What we collect, why, and what we don't — explained plainly.
Livi Lou is a small, growing boutique. This page explains what information we actually collect today, why, and what we don’t collect. As we add customer accounts, checkout, and other store features, we’ll update this page to match — and have it reviewed before Livi Lou processes real orders and payments.
Information We Collect
Right now, the only information the Livi Lou website asks you for is whatever you choose to enter in our Contact form — your name, email, an order number if you have one, and your message. Message delivery from that form isn’t connected yet, so nothing you type there is currently stored or transmitted anywhere.
We don’t yet have customer accounts, checkout, or order history, so we don’t collect shipping addresses, payment information, or account data today.
How We Use Information
Once our contact form is fully connected, information submitted through it will be used only to respond to your message.
Orders & Payments
We don’t process real orders or payments yet. When checkout launches, we plan to use Stripe to handle payments. Livi Lou will not independently collect or store your full card number — that’s handled by Stripe directly.
Service Providers
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. As we add email delivery, payments, and other store features, we’ll list the outside services involved here.
Transactional email, analytics (if any), and other service providers will be named here once they’re actually in use.
Communications
Once accounts and orders exist, we’ll explain here how transactional messages (like order confirmations) differ from optional marketing email, and how to opt out of the latter.
Data Retention
Exactly how long information is kept will be documented here once our order and account systems are built.
Your Privacy Choices
Once we collect account or order information, we’ll explain here how you can ask to access, correct, or delete it.
Children's Privacy
Livi Lou may appeal to younger customers, so we’re deliberately conservative about collecting personal information. Our contact form doesn’t collect anything beyond what’s needed to respond to a message.
A full children’s-privacy review will happen before Livi Lou launches customer accounts or commerce.
Security
We don’t build or store passwords ourselves — when customer accounts launch, sign-in will be handled by a dedicated, properly built authentication system rather than a homemade one.
Changes to This Policy
We’ll update this page as our systems and practices change, particularly before Livi Lou begins processing real orders and payments.
